Where can I find you?

Paul-Ehrlich-Straße 28,
67663 Kaiserslautern

The sports hall is located in building 28 and UNIFIT is located in building 27.

Detailed information about the individual sports facilities can be found on this page.

  • By bus: The bus stop "Universität Sporthalle" is located right in front of building 28. Timetable information
  • By car: You can park your car for free in the parking spaces on campus or in the parking garage opposite the sports hall.
  • By bike: There are several bike parking spaces directly in front of the sports hall, where you can safely connect your bike.

Not all courses take place directly at UNISPORT. For some courses, other sports facilities on campus or in the city of Kaiserslautern are used.

In the Sports Schedule, you will always find information about where the course will take place. More details about the sports facilities and their addresses can be found on this page.

What do you offer? How can I participate?

The sports program is at the basis of our offers - here you can choose your favorites out of about 80 sports and take lots of courses. In addition, there is our outdoor sports section, which regularly offers camps on the water, in the snow, on the rock, in the forest, and much more.

If you want to prove your skills and compete with others, our competitions are just right for you. And at the UNISPORT events  we offer you the right balance to stressful university days.

In our fitness studio UNIFIT everything revolves around you - training area, diagnostics, sauna, and much more are waiting for you.

The overview of our current course offers, including location and time of the offers, can be found in our sports schedule. Please note that some courses require registration. You can find the registration on this page.

A general overview of the sports offered in our sports program can be found on this page.

A basic card is required to participate in the UNISPORT sports program as well as for free sports activities on our facilities. You should also find out in advance if you need to bring any special equipment to the courses.

The prices for the basic card vary depending on your statusgroup. For TUK students, the basic card is equivalent to the validated student ID and is included in the tuition fees - you don't pay anything extra! Every other person can find information on their status group and the basic card on this page.

If you have a valid basic card, the outdoor facility is available to you for free sports activities within the opening hours.

Please note that regular sports activities, e.g. courses and teaching events, always have priority and must not be disturbed.

Free use of the sports hall is not possible.

You need the basic card to participate in the sports program and to do free sports on our facilities.

We also offer our soccer cage, beach volleyball courts and tennis courts. You can use these without a basic card, but a special card is required for these offers. More information can also be found at the respective sports facilities. The soccer cage is open all year round, the beach and tennis courts can only be used during the summer semester.

In addition, you can buy a swimming card, which allows you to swim at certain times in Monte Mare and in the South School Center and to participate in aqua power courses. With the diving card you can participate in our diving courses. And the dancing card allows you to participate in all the courses of the different dance sports we have in our program. No additional basic card is required for these offers either.

The prices for workshops, outdoor sports, competitions, events, etc. can be found on the respective pages of the offers.

A separate membership  is required for UNIFIT.

The UNISPORT offers are basically available to all persons - not only members of the TUK.

For paid offers, different groups of people are divided into different status groups. You can find information about this on this page.

Persons under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a supervising person, only then they have access to our facilities and offers. Children may only participate in courses that are explicitly advertised for children (e.g. children's swimming course, parent-child gymnastics). Participation in swimming, diving and dancing is not possible under the age of 18. In addition, participation in all other courses for persons under 18 years of age (e.g. students under 18 years of age) is only permitted after prior approval by UNISPORT (contact: katharina.becker(at)
