Snorkel training will help you learn how to use a mask, snorkel and fins (ABC equipment), which is required for a safe scuba diving experience. Conditioning, coordination and breath-holding practice (or apnea skills) are developed through various exercises and underwater games. Participants can even learn the required practical skills that are needed in order to acquire an international diving certificate (additional costs include an examination fee, diving equipment rental fees, and a medical statement). The course is suitable for both beginners and advanced divers. Participants need to be able to swim safely before taking this course. The course can also be held in English, if necessary.
After the warm-up, the class starts with snorkel training (dividing into separate groups for beginners and advanced divers). You can participate in games after the training sessions (e.g. underwater ball, a modified form of underwater rugby). If necessary, participants can take part in training with scubas and open water dives to acquire an international diving certification.
Beginners start during the winter semester. Advanced divers can join at any time.
Mask, snorkel, fins, and swimwear are required!
The indoor swimming pool at SZS is closed during the summer break.
SZS closes at 10:00 PM!
